Roddick, Agassi out at Wimbledon

The Americans didn't fare well at Wimbledon this year. I watched the Nadal-Agassi match the other day, and Nadal seemed to have the whole thing under control. Of course, Nadal is ranked #2 in the world, so this was not a major upset (in my opinion not even an upset at all). I thought Agassi had a decent shot at winning because of Rafa's inconsistency on non-clay surfaces. I still think Nadal is inconsistent on grass, and even though he is capable of making the final, I will be surprised if it happens.

I don't know what is going on with Roddick. His downward spiral began when he lost in the first round of the US Open last year. I feel sorry for the guy, because he doesn't seem to know what's going on either. I hope he can turn things around. His ranking will go way down after Wimbledon, and that may actually be a good thing for him. I think he'll feel less pressure to win every tournament. Also, it may give him a chance to face Federer in an earlier round.

As of now, my prediction for the final is Federer vs Hewitt. The Fed will win, of course.
