Welcome to 2009

Today is the big day - the start of a new year! I celebrated by going to bed around 9:30 last night and tuning in to the start of the Sixers-Clippers game (which the Sixers ended up winning). I was sound asleep when the calendar changed to 2009, but I don't think I missed a whole lot. If there were fireworks, they weren't loud enough to wake me up. I continued my celebration today by heading out for a 6.2-mile run. It was nice and cold, but not too cold, and I was very comfortable out there.
