Nadal takes Rome title

Another clay-court tournament, another victory for Nadal. The Rome tournament was held last week, and everything went pretty much as expected. Nadal won everything and was matched up with Djokovic in the final, just like in Monte Carlo. Roger Federer had yet another disappointing result, losing to Djokovic in the semis. I can't figure out what's going on with that guy. He had a great Australian Open, coming within one set of the title, but after that he has struggled mightily. He always seems to shine in the Grand Slam events, so I hope he plays well enough to make the final at the French Open. I don't give him much of a chance at beating Nadal, but up until very recently I would have argued that he was the second best clay-courter in the world. At least Djokovic has been having some solid performances on clay. If he's not in Rafa's half of the French Open draw, he'll have a great chance at making the final.
